The deal between you and HAUL, in the fewest words that still mean something.
The short version
- Your training log is yours. We store it and coach from it; we don't claim it.
- Vale is a coach, not a doctor. You decide what you lift.
- The logger is free. Paid features bill through your app store, and you cancel there.
- Be decent in the social features, or we'll close the account.
01Your account
You need an account to use HAUL, and you need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in secure — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us fast if you think someone else has got in.
02Your training data belongs to you
Everything you log stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it, show it back to you, and generate your coaching from it — nothing wider than that. We don't sell it, and we don't claim ownership of your workouts, notes, or routines. Export it or delete it whenever you want; see Privacy and Account deletion.
03Coaching is guidance, not medical advice
Vale reads your sessions and proposes the next ones. Those are suggestions produced from your own numbers — they are not medical advice, physiotherapy, or a diagnosis, and no one has examined you.
Lifting carries real risk of injury. Train inside your ability, warm up, use a spotter or safeties when it matters, and see a qualified professional if you're injured, pregnant, returning from surgery, or managing a condition. If a proposed session feels wrong for your body on the day, don't do it — the decision is always yours.
04Using it fairly
- Don't attack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the app or the API behind it.
- Don't use HAUL to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Don't resell access, or pass automated traffic through your account.
05The social side
If you follow lifters, join groups, or share sessions, what you share becomes visible to those people — that's the point of it. In return: no harassment, no impersonating someone else, no posting content you don't have the right to post, and nothing you wouldn't say to a training partner's face. We can remove content or close an account over this, and we don't need a warning to do it where the behaviour is serious.
06Money
The core logger is free. Paid features, when you buy them, are billed by Apple or Google under their terms — including any trial, renewal, and refund rules. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you cancel in your App Store or Play Store account, not here. Prices can change; we'll tell you before a change hits an existing subscription.
07Availability
We work to keep HAUL running, but it's provided as it is. We don't promise uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for training outcomes, lost gains, or a session that didn't sync while you were in a basement gym with no signal. Where the law gives you rights that this section can't limit, those rights stand.
08Ending it
You can stop whenever you like — delete the account in the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or puts other lifters at risk. If we close yours, you can still ask for a copy of your training data.
09Changes
These terms will change as the app does. Material changes get surfaced in the app rather than slipped onto this page, and continuing to use HAUL after that means you accept them.
10Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and any dispute about them belongs to the competent courts of Israel.
That doesn't strip you of protections your own country gives you. If you're a consumer somewhere with mandatory consumer-protection rights — the EU and UK being the common cases — those rights still apply and nothing here overrides them. Anything you bought through Apple or Google is also covered by their refund and cancellation terms.
